Technical description: Lacquered brass with three P茅rinet bottom-sprung valves, each with tuning slide. One tuning slide with water key between mouth-piece receiver and valves, one tuning slide between valves and bell.

Inscription: Each valve stamped 鈥1鈥, 鈥2鈥, and 鈥3鈥 respectively on left hand side top. The second valve also has 鈥淥 / U鈥 on left hand bottom. Engraved on bell: 鈥淔. Jaubert & Cie / Paris / [decorative divider] / Lyon & Healy / SOLE AGENTS / CHICAGO鈥.

Faults: Leaking water key. Bell tightener screw missing. Numerous small dents on bell.

Repair history: Two stays crudely soldered.

Usable pitch: Plays at a鈥 = 466 Hz (high pitch).
