Dr Trust Matsilele
Trust Matsilele is an academic, political commentator and former journalist. He is an interdisciplinary researcher with an interest in the changing journalism ecologies, recruitment and retention practices in African newsrooms, the intersection of journalism and technologies and social media and protest cultures.
He has published two books,听 (Palgrave 2022) and the聽 (Palgrave 2023). He has been published in some of the leading journalism and communication journals: Digital Journalism, Media Culture & Society, Journal of Asian and African Studies, and Information, Communication & Society.聽
Matsilele is currently working on his second edited volume to be published in 2024 titled:聽
