听Applicants aged under 18
If you鈥檙e going to be aged under 18 at the start of your course:
- we must have your parent or legal guardian鈥檚 written consent, giving permission for you to travel and live independently in the UK.

Competence in English requirements
If you鈥檙e a non-EU international student from a country where the vast majority of people are not English-speaking, you鈥檙e usually required to take a Secure English Language Test (SELT).
If you鈥檙e planning to study a course which is below degree level, you must take a SELT with one of UK Visas and Immigration鈥檚 (UKVI) approved English language test providers, unless we have already accepted your high school qualification.
