Thinking about starting a career might seem like a daunting prospect, but it鈥檚 also an exciting opportunity to pursue something you鈥檙e passionate about and experience new things. If you鈥檙e interested in studying Digital Technology at university, our courses cover a broad range of subjects and our graduates end up in听a variety of exciting roles. Wondering which course to go for? We caught up with some of our Digital Technology graduates to see where they are now, and to听ask for their advice on starting and building a career. Irfan Yasin,听听驳谤补诲耻补迟别.

Irfan started using his skills by building websites, and has now helped to launch an online video platform. His advice is to do as much extra learning and experimenting in your spare time because being able to show your initiative and passion will set you apart from other graduates.

Emma Chilton,听听驳谤补诲耻补迟别.

听

After graduating, Emma volunteered her skills for a few different projects and made some good contacts in the industry. She now works听on TV dramas such as Call the Midwife and Black Mirror, and听her work on series four of Sherlock was nominated for an Emmy award. Her advice is to tell everyone you meet who you are, what you do, and what you want to do, because you never know who they might be able to introduce you to.
