Students, graduates and artists in residence at the School of Jewellery聽picked up multiple accolades at the annual Craftsmanship and Design Awards, known as the 鈥楯ewellery Oscars'.
The awards ceremony was hosted by the 聽at Goldsmiths' Hall in London.
This annual event brings the industry together to celebrate the diverse and wide-ranging skill sets of British jewellery, goldsmithing, silversmithing and allied trades. This year there were more than 500 entries to the competition, which encompasses two main sections: 2D design and 3D finished work 鈥 all of which were judged by a panel of industry experts.聽
Five students, four graduates and two artists in residence at the School of Jewellery聽excelled in these two categories to scoop Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.聽
In addition to the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, our students won two new bursary awards: Special Award - Benevolent Society for stone setting, which was awarded to Ev茅 Avis, and the Cartier Award, which was awarded to Maisy Beardmore to undertake a month鈥檚 paid work experience at Cartier.

The School of Jewellery was awarded Silver as the runner-up for the College Trophy. This prize is given to the college or university with the highest number of points accumulated from Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards in the competition.
