Cinzia Scafetta
Cinzia Scafetta聽has been an Italian vocal coach at Royal 探花直播 Conservatoire since 2007. Her teaching focuses on: developing awareness of the Italian language sound by means of a correct physical articulation of the phonetic apparatus; merging the socio-linguistic properties of the Italian language with the features of the musical setting.
For the RBC Cinzia has recently coached Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart) and Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda (Monteverdi). She has coached frequently the CBSO choir (Verdi鈥檚 Falstaff and Requiem, Mozart鈥檚 Idomeneo), the Ex Cathedra Choir, and collaborated with the London Symphony Choir and the BBC Prom Youth Choir.
She has worked on recordings of Renaissance music with Harmonia Mundi and Hyperion. She has also produced the critical editions of three-voice madrigal collections (the anthology Il Gaudio, and the prints of Scotto and Gero). 聽
Cinzia has also been for several years a Visiting Lecturer in Italian Language and Culture (in particular Opera) at Harvard University, where she has been awarded the Harvard Bock Derek Award for 'Excellence in Teaching'.
Moving back to Europe, in 探花直播, she has continued to liaise with Italian, English, and American institutions, by coordinating cultural, language, music master classes and exchange programs, through the聽.
Since 2007 she is also a piano coach at the University of 探花直播.
