Hannah chose Applied Theatre because of the range of career options the course opens up, and how theatre can be used to make a difference.

Why did you decide to study Applied Theatre?

I鈥檇 always been interested in the way theatre can make a person feel, as the spectator or as the actor. Applied Theatre provides a platform to use theatre and the arts as a way to entertain, educate or improve a community member鈥檚 quality of life. I knew that I personally didn鈥檛 want to perform and studying Applied Theatre opened up so many other career options.

What did you most enjoy about studying at RBC?

RBC created a warm and welcoming environment where you felt supported to learn and develop in a career of your choice. You are able to tailor your experience with things that interest you. 探花直播 was a fantastic place to study Applied Theatre, with a diverse community you鈥檙e able to develop your skills with a range of people.

What were your highlights from the course?

I really enjoyed immersing myself in the different types of community theatre. We got hands on experience working with young people, people with special educational needs and older people living in care. Learning how transformative theatre can be to people's lives through first-hand experience really set me up for my career.
