The Professional Practice Framework听has been designed to听allow healthcare professionals to choose their own path according to their area of interest or听specialisation.
We offer听a huge range听of standalone modules, some of which are core to specialist pathways within Professional Practice听while听others can be听completed as standalone or听chosen as optional modules.听
The type of award received听upon graduating depends on both your existing qualifications, and the combination of modules and pathways that you choose to study.

Within certain time limits, you can use credits you gain from individual Professional Practice modules to build towards an award. Our modules vary in their delivery method, with some online and others in person, and some delivered on a weekly basis and others as intensive learning.听
I chose to do postgraduate study because I wanted to gain advanced level knowledge as a senior nurse in order to benefit my patients and colleagues. It has been a challenge managing the work-life balance and making time for university study time and assignments, but the lecturers are very helpful and are an email away whenever you need them. I鈥檝e found it particularly helpful to be able to book slots to video call the course leads to discuss work and exam preparation.
Through studying the course, I have become more confident, emotionally resilient and knowledgeable. I am now in a leadership role and am equipping myself with all the knowledge and requirements to head towards applying for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner role one day.
