We have many students from the Caribbean studying at 探花直播 on some of our most popular programmes including Business, Art and Design.
探花直播 is a popular study destination for students from the Caribbean region and our city has a large ethnic Caribbean community. 探花直播 has its very own international airport which is located a 10-minute train journey from our聽. Modern, safe and perfectly located on-campus accommodation is available to all international students on a first-come, first-served basis.
Undergraduate
Equivalent UCAS points from Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) from 3 Double Unit (Unit 2) subjects (marking scheme I - V being equivalent to A - E respectively).聽 Points can be made up with the two compulsory Single Unit subjects (Caribbean Studies and Communication Studies) being counted as AS Level.聽 GCSE Maths and English from Caribbean Examination Council Secondary Education Certificate (CXC) Grades I - III at General Level.
Postgraduate
Bachelor (Honours) Degree with Second Class聽Lower Division
Special requirements
Art and聽Design
All undergraduate Art and Design courses require a good portfolio of artwork. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. Please check faculty website for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment聽(CEBE)
All undergraduate聽courses in the聽CEBE faculty require Mathematics at O Level. However for the Engineering suite and BEng Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level minimum Grade C or the equivalent.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require Mathematics minimum of Grade C at O Level or the equivalent
