We've invested heavily in innovative technology to give our students the best possible preparation for their chosen careers. Facilities include a mock law court, a virtual radiography suite, broadcast studios, fashion workshops and a mock operating theatre.
Our research work is attracting international attention too, with research across 11 of our subject areas being classed as 'world-leading', 'internationally excellent' or 'recognised internationally' in the prestigious Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014.

Undergraduate courses
For courses requiring 112 UCAS entry points, we expect students to be studying (or have attained) the Baccalaur茅at with a minimum overall grade of 12+/20 (Assez Bien - Quite Good). 聽In terms of Maths requirement, we expect a聽score of 10/20 in maths for most courses, but聽15/20 in Maths if you are applying for an Engineering programme. 聽 In terms of English language proficiency, we expect that you pass an academic IELTS with at least an overall score of 6.0, with no band under 5.5.
Postgraduate courses
To be considered for a place on a Master鈥檚 or Postgraduate Certificate course, you will normally be a graduate of a French or UK university. Graduates of French universities must have a Maitrise or Dipl么me d'ing茅nieur (or equivalent) with a minimum grade of Assez Bien.
English language requirements
Every year we provide a number of scholarships and bursaries recognising the talents of our international students, which can help cover part of your tuition fees.
