Foundation courses
Minimum Overall KCSE Score: C+.
Core Subject Requirements:
English: Minimum of a C grade.
Mathematics: Minimum of a C grade
Undergraduate courses
Accepts students who hold a KCSE certificate, including eight examinable subjects, with a minimum average of Grade B+ in at least seven subjects.
Core Subject Requirements:
English: Minimum of a C grade
Mathematics: Minimum of a C grade
Postgraduate courses
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2:2 classification.
Special requirements
Art and Design
All undergraduate courses in the art and design Schools require a good portfolio of artwork.听 Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies, while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies.听 Please check the faculty website for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE)听
All undergraduate programmes in the CEBE faculty require Mathematics at O Level.听 However, for the Engineering suite and BEng in Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level, with a minimum Grade C or equivalent.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require a minimum grade of C in Mathematics at O Level or its equivalent.
English language requirements
We only accept qualifications obtained from 2015 onwards.
- C (Plain)听- For courses requiring IELTS 6.0 overall
- B- (Minus)听- For courses requiring IELTS 6.5 overall
- B (Plain)听- For courses requiring IELTS 7.0 overall
Scholarship News
We are offering partial scholarships for courses delivered in 补苍诲听 faculties at the following rates:
