Brit Awards winner KT Tunstall is set to share her songwriting expertise with budding musicians when she visits ̽»¨Ö±²¥ this month.
The singer-songwriter, known for her hits ‘Suddenly I See’ and ‘Other Side Of The World’, will discuss how she approaches the songwriting process as well as demonstrating how she wrote some of her biggest hits.Ìý
Ìýwill mark the opening of , a two-year project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, which will help to unite scholars, industry workers and practitioners for the exchange of ideas on songwriting.
Born in Scotland, KT Tunstall shot to fame in 2004 and has gone on to release six albums internationally.
During her visit to ̽»¨Ö±²¥ she will be interviewed by Dr Simon Barber, Research Fellow at ̽»¨Ö±²¥â€™s Centre for Media and Cultural Research, and his collaborator Brian O’Connor, for their ‘Sodajerker On Songwriting’ podcast.
Since its launch in 2011, the podcast has released over 130 episodes featuring in-depth discussions with the likes of Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney and Noel Gallagher.
