Dr Chris Inman
Chris is a聽registered nurse with about 15 years' post-qualifying experience prior to employment in education at the University of Hull and then as Head of Nursing Development at the Open University in Milton Keynes. At 探花直播 she has many years of experience directing the MSc Advanced Practice/MSc Health Care programmes and supervise student research at Master鈥檚 and PhD level.
Current Activity
Chris is聽Programme Director for, and teaches on, the MSc Advanced Practice.

Research
Chris'聽own research at Master鈥檚 and Doctoral level involved qualitative designs and she has聽contributed to research in the Faculty of Health relating to evaluation of the MSc Advanced Practice programmes and publications relating to Advanced Practice. Her聽interests are in health and educational issues and she is聽an enthusiastic committee member of the Association of Advanced Nursing Practice Educator鈥檚 UK committee.
聽In August 2012 she will聽be delivering several conference presentations/workshop at the International Council of Nurses Conference in London. 聽

NHS senior managers鈥� expectations of Advanced Nursing, Midwifery and AHP practitioner and consultant roles.
Previous research experience
Chris has聽previously researched educators' and practitioners' experiences of PhD study. her聽Doctorate in Education thesis was 'Consultant Practitioners' Experience of PhD Study. A qualitative research design involving individual and focus group interviews 2005-2009'.
