Tamar Shiboleth
Originally from the Netherlands, Tamar moved to the United Kingdom in May 2018 to begin her PhD studies at 探花直播. She has previously worked as a lecturer in social studies at Avans University of Applied Sciences, and聽as a family manager and youth probation officer for Child Protective Services in Amsterdam. Tamar worked with teens who have experienced sexual assault and have witnessed firsthand the difficulties these teens have when it comes to speaking out and finding the right (professional) help. These experiences motivated her to set up my current study.
Tamar's enthusiasm for research started during my studies at Utrecht University. Since then, Tamar has gained research experience at various institutions including Utrecht University, the Centre for Information and Research on Organised Crime (CIROC) and research group 鈥楽ocial Resilience and Public Safety in the Digital Society鈥� at Avans University of Applied Sciences.
