贰顿厂听work with, and support, academic staff at all levels from across the University by providing access to a range of development opportunities to help staff improve skills in curriculum design and learning and teaching practice.聽
We can help via the following:
The聽PGCert (online) | This is a year-long course designed for staff at all BCU partner institutions in the UK and abroad聽to explore a range of theories, concepts, issues and practices in relation to the design and delivery of inclusive and engaging learning experiences for their students. |
SEDA courses | These are short courses for inexperienced staff new to learning and teaching in HE and for experienced staff wishing to develop specific aspects of their practice. Following each course there is the opportunity to submit an assignment to receive an accredited qualification. |
Other EDS workshops and short courses | These are non-accredited sessions run by EDS to help you improve on specific aspects of your teaching practice. |

EDS can also help you develop in many other ways. The聽Academic Professional Apprenticeship聽is available to most聽academic staff, and through our BCU Fellowship Scheme, we can help you gain HEA Fellowship.
